Prophetic Word for Perth

I have absolutely no doubt that God is wanting to take the prophetic to a new level in this city. Much of what we have seen in the past is the gift of prophecy in action in the church. This is good, edifying and needful for the church to prosper. However, I believe God is wanting to develop the prophetic gift within the church to a place where higher level prophecies are coming forth, bringing vision and direction to the church. When the prophets are prophesying, the work of God will move forward speedily.

How will this occur? Firstly, those with a call to a prophetic office need to be embraced and given freedom to operate in their calling within the churches. Secondly, God is dealing with our hearts, because He can only entrust His counsels and strategies to those who have been through the Refiner’s fiery furnace of affliction and love Him more than life itself.

For this reason, God is developing within us a Davidic heart of worship, and our hearts will yearn for Him Psalm 42:1-2. We will search for Him in the Secret Place and we will find Him. We will seek His face like never before Psalm 27:4.

God is raising up a prophetic generation who look just like the eagle. Eagles love the high places. They build their homes in the tops of the tallest trees on the highest cliffs they can find. From here, they have a panoramic view of the countryside around them. So it will be with this prophetic generation. We will know God in the Secret Place, and from this stance, we will begin to see clearer than we’ve ever seen before. Our natural vision will be exchanged for supernatural telescopic vision. We will begin to see things the way that God sees them. We will begin to get a heavenly vision of things.

God is looking for worshippers. He’s looking for those with whom He can share His heart. He’s looking for men and women after His own heart, as David was Acts 13:22; Nehemiah 12:36. He’s looking for those who are trustworthy, who He can pour His heart into. This is the heart of the prophetic - intimacy with God.

How do we prepare our hearts to become a vessel through whom God can pour greater glory and grace? We sit at His feet and we seek His face.We sit at the feet of Jesus and we give Him our hearts. Why did Joshua sit outside the Tent of Meeting long after everyone else had gone home? Was it for fame or for glory? Was it for promotion and to look pleasing in the eyes of man? Of course not. He knew this was the place where the manifest presence and glory of God dwelt. So why do we come? Is it for fame or for fortune, for honor or for riches? Of course not. A heart thirst for Jesus needs to be the reason why we come.

Vision of the Boots & the Bride

I saw a picture of black, shiny work boots. Then I saw a vision of beautiful, fine wedding lace. I said, ‘Lord, what does this mean?’ He simply said, we often enter His presence still dressed in our workday clothes, instead of getting ourselves dressed in the Bridal garments of intimacy & communion; speaking of preparedness of heart to meet with Him.

So how do we prepare our hearts to meet with a King? We lay down our work clothes. We put on our royal wedding garments. We get dressed for the King. We incline our ear to hear His voice. We listen to Him. Then comes the hard part! We do what He says.

God is wanting to take the prophetic to a new level in this city. He is sounding the rallying cry for the saints of God to draw together in such unity, forming a band of end-time worshipping warriors who know the very heart of their King. This magnificent end-time army will help to usher in the power, the glory & the majesty of their King.
