Prophetic Word for Scotland

I saw for Scotland that the Lord has had you in a time of training; intense training; training for reigning; training that has been preparing you for promotion on the world stage.

Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs; rather, they try to please their commanding officer. Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor's crown except by competing according to the rules. The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. 2 Timothy 2:3-7.

Like a boxer training for the heavyweight titles, training involves balance, precision, timing, attention to weight and nutrition, stamina, courage and focus. You have been faithful, and your faithfulness has equipped you to carry a greater weight of glory in the service of the Lord.

Suddenly I saw the clashing of swords, shields and battle-axes as warriors fought together in unison; following the commands of the Lord. They were alert; watching the horizon; each one knowing his place and authority in the army of the Lord. The archangel of the Lord was in charge of the fray.

I heard the beating of the drums and the lifting up of voice in song and tongues. The warfare cry of warriors is being released in the land. I saw the cleansing foam of fuller’s soap signifying that this battle is a battle for righteousness in the land. Swords were held high. Bells were clanging. Smoke was rising high as musical instruments played in unison. The warfare drums sounded; armies marched forward with chorus and song. The tambourines were flying in the dance.

Partake of God’s Precious Water of Life

Then I heard the Lord say, ‘Don’t drink poison, pollution or waste. Partake of the true water of life. Much of unconverted Scotland is in love with her amber coloured whisky, termed in Gaelic, ‘the water of life’. How appropriate that God is calling all of Scotland to drink from His unpolluted river of life. Then I heard the Lord say, with regard to violence springing forth in the streets, ‘Blow the whistle on them. Blow the whistle on them. Call out the watchmen and blow the whistle on them.’

Get drunk in the Spirit Scotland. Drunk in the Spirit of Life! Throw off the old self. Fling away your burdens - both small and great - and rejoice and laugh in the Lord your God. Wine clouds are forming - bearing the fresh wine of the Spirit - warding off the storms of the night.

Suddenly there appeared a flock of geese flying, but not just ordinary geese. They were golden geese that laid golden eggs and they had golden eyes, and there were golden coins that flew through the air. These geese were bringing winds of change; winds of mercy; heralding and trumpetting the sounds of God’s glory as they flew over Scotland. (It’s interesting that geese possess keen eyesight and raucous voices, making them excellent sentinels. They make the perfect watchdog, alerting their owners the moment trouble or danger approaches).

Scotland is headed for moments of sheer glory. Others will be drawn to the warmth of this glory. No more the whipping, shattering winds of sorrow; no more the wearying drudgery of slavery andoppression. God is releasing sweet streams of honey; nectar pouring down. You have endured faithfully the Lord’s hand of refining, and now you’re coming forth as pure gold!

The Lord then showed me a picnic hamper full of all good things; cheese, wine, bread, salmon pate, fish, jam and honey. And I saw a man with a huge padded jacket on, fishing for trout. The trout were jumping out of the water, and as they did so, the brightness of the sun’s rays would catch their glimmering, shining bellies before they dived into the water again. (Scotland is well known for its
wonderful cold water fish)!

I read recently that it has been discovered that trout, and other cold water fish, leap out of the water just for the pure joy of experiencing that burst of physical exertion. They literally jump for joy! And so it shall be for you dear Scotland... you shall jump for joy for all that God has done for you!

This is a season of goodness; a season of provision, as the Lord pours out His many blessings upon your land. The Lord’s provident goodness is going to abound. You will be seen as a land of plenty, as the refreshing streams of revival flow through your land. ‘The song of the turtledove will be heard again in your land’. Song of Solomon 2:11-12 .
