SEEING BEYOND THE VEIL by Rod Christensen

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:5-6.

We know at this time, “Every thing that can be shaken, will be shaken.” Today, I want to bring a little perspective on how the Lord sees things. The Lord is big on encouragement, which is literally to ‘give courage’.

As Christians and as a prophetic generation, we are to carry the Lord’s heart and perspective for our day. Putting it another way, we are invited to be the most joyous, confident and assured people on planet earth, clothed with and propelled forward by the love of God. WOW!

The Holy Spirit is bringing fresh revelation of the nature and characteristics of the Lord. Yet,
whenever the Lord breathes fresh insight on truth, warfare surrounds the promise. Many have been experiencing various battle fronts during the past year, but be encouraged by this promise. “The battle is the Lord’s, but the victory is ours.” (1 Sam. 17:47)

Once the break-through comes, the experience you have gained during the battle, will equip you for a new dimension of authority. You see with God, all things are designed to work in our favour. Yes, this is not a fair fight - we will always win. The devil does not stand a chance.

The world needs an upgrade on how they see the Lord. This upgrade comes as we allow the oils of renewal to ignite our understanding of what the Lord is really like. Are you ready to have your relationship with the Lord go to the next level? This is the year for visitation and transformation.

“Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?” Isaiah 43:19.

This new season is about moving beyond the misconceptions that circumstances, man’s prejudices or our experiences have painted about the character and nature of God. The Holy Spirit fully intends to up-grade our understanding on the
wonderful characteristic contained within the Godhead. While waiting on the Lord, I asked the Holy Spirit a few questions about the Father’s intentions for the next season, this is what He
whispered to me:

“ I will pour out My oil of grace and mercy on those who have struggled to see Me, because of the veils of misconception that have shrouded their understanding. Rivers of revelation will wash away the dust of uncertainty that has tainted their spiritual vision. This will enable all to realise and experience that My goodness and mercy follows them and My eternal love clothes them every moment of their day.”

“Fresh revelatory streams will wash over and refresh the thirsty heart. I am restoring prophetic insight. Once again My people will have the “eye of the
eagle”. Those who have hesitated to launch fully into trusting Me, will experience My love colliding with their uncertainties, exposing and overcoming satanic inputs that have acted as a smoke-screen. Bring any rejection, isolation, disappointments, fears anddiscouragement to the Lord, as these will attempt to place you in a holding pattern. All the natural negative giants that surround your circumstances are just that, they are natural. My vision for you is to dwell in My super-natural
paradigm.”

A New Place of Occupation

The Father’s vision for your life is totally amazing, He calls you a son or a daughter within His courts. 2 Cor. 6:18. The devil intends that God’s people are mantled with the grave clothes of false identity. Like Lazarus, Jesus is saying, remove these graves clothes that have bound you, and come forth as children of My resurrection power. This is our true place of occupation within the purposes and intent of God.

The devil and circumstances try to hold us in a place of defeat and
powerlessness. While the Holy Spirit is saying, “I live inside of you, the same power that resurrected Jesus.” Romans 8:11 The cross and resurrection has removed the veil and opened the way. Now is time to step through and possess and become.

Can I encourage you to no longer be uncertain about who you are and what you have access to. No longer try to survive on what ‘falls from the table’. Take your take your place at the King’s table, eating His dainties The Father’s intention is to lavish you with the
dainties only found at His table. Today make a decision that you are not just going to seek to have your need met, but go after your inheritance - after all there is no shortage in God’s kingdom.
The Place of Security

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm. 91:1.

The second necessity to being clothed in confidence, is to understand the position that has been granted to us, in Christ. The idea of being placed in Christ can seem quite nebulous, until you realise how it works. This principle can be seen when Abraham paid tithes on the spoils of war to Melchizedek. All those born into the natural Abrahamic lineage enjoy the benefits of his honouring actions, they were ‘in Abraham’. Even though they were yet to be born, they were in the ‘loins of Abraham’ so to speak. Hebrews 7:4-10.

The spiritual new birth is the mechanism that places the believer ‘in Christ’ . Automatically, from that very moment, potentially, even the youngest believer becomes a beneficiary of all that God has promised. Being placed in Christ is our place of sanctuary even when stormy times come, no storm was every able to phase Jesus. This place is what the bible calls the ‘secret place’. Psalm 91:1.

Each and every born again believer has been ‘in Christ’ and has access to all that Jesus has, and also ‘being in Christ’ is your place of protection and provision - what an amazing gift we have! There can be no greater place of security and certainty, even in uncertain times. Paul puts it like this,

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39.

Conclusion

He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. Hebrews 8:6.

God fully intends to do a new thing in and through your life, but first you need an up-grade in how you see yourself and how you see God. In Christ all things become possible, for you and me. As we all get a fresh revelation of what we have ‘in Jesus’ not only will we experience security and victory, regardless of what the media is says, the Church will demonstrate more and more kingdom power this year. This power brings the kingdom of God close to the needs of suffering mankind. Your place is seated with Jesus as His kingdom begins to transform our earth.
